These guys are FANTASTIC, highly recommend! I've had Larry and Nick out to my house twice now; both times they were very professional, personable, arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves, answered ALL of my questions and didn't mind that I constantly took notes (as a first time homeowner I'm trying to learn everything I can). Fixed my issues fully or explained why something else was wrong that they couldn't fix (like a bathroom fan had a bad motor). I also appreciate the thorough thought Larry puts into questions - like me wanting to eventually run power to my detached garage and options to get that done in the best way. They handle all of my jobs, big or small, with the same care and attention. Tim in the office is also great - a good conversationalist, takes in all information, and asks appropriate questions to pass along so no time is wasted at the job site (like asking for pictures of my electric panel to make sure they have the correct parts available). This company really makes me feel heard and cared about; definitely will be calling these guys for any other electric work I have!

Do yourself a favor and CALL BAD MONKEY ELECTRIC FIRST! My experience with Bad Monkey was amazing. Bad Monkey was extremely honest, professional, and responsive to my actual needs. When calling the company it feels like you are speaking with a friend, someone who cares about your job, and the neighborhood professionals. I have talked with Tim many times and he is very knowledgeable and courteous. Brandon the technician that came to my home was extremely professional. Bad Monkey will always be my go to company for electrical needs.For reference I was selling my home and had another company come out to install 2 light fixtures and a smoke alarm. Not only did the other company grossly over charge me, but they also tried to sell me things I did not need. The comparison of the experience with Bad Monkey and the other company was night and day. Steve and his team were fantastic. Working with Bad Monkey was great, from start to finish! We needed full breaker panel replacement and upgrade as well as our kitchen rewired so our fridge was on a dedicated circuit..Brian the estimator was friendly, upfront, and made sure to listen to our concerns and goals and explained several things as well as presented options and things to consider. He also fixed our doorbell on the spot, which was awesome!The Electricians, Steve and his helper Rob, were on time, friendly, professional, and really efficient. The work they did looks fantastic, everything tidy and well-labeled, and they cleaned the areas up afterward. Tim in the office has also been great to work with.Will definitely keeping going back to them for all of our electrical needs.

Tim at Bad Monkey Electric was very helpful with getting my electric repairs scheduled and followed up to make sure we were happy with their service. The electricians were professional and got the job done right the first time. They repaired the 3 way switches so the dimmers don't flicker any on the high or low setting. I would use them again.

Bad Monkey Electric has always been very responsive whenever I've contacted them in the past. We wanted to get a level 2 EV charger installed before the federal tax credit expired at the end of 2021. Bad Monkey finished the install before I could even get anyone else out to give a quote.

Several kitchen outlets stopped working so we called Bad Monkey and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Two young men arrived on time and immediately investigated the issue - zeroed in on the problem and fixed it. So nice to have such an outstanding company located near our neighborhood. You don't want to take any changes with electric - you need to call a professional - and that is exactly what we did. Completely satisfied and would definitely recommend their service.

I called Bad Monkey to fix a botched job by another contractor. They responded quickly and we set an appointment time. The Electrician called me as promised and showed up on time. I find this rare with most service businesses today. The work was done quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up after the work was completed in a professional manner. Highly recommended!

i had lack of power in part of my kitchen and outside outlets. Lead electrician, Larry, and Steve repaired my outdoor outlets, the electric to the garbage disposal, and verified that electric was going to my dishwasher. They arrived on time, and were courteous, professional, efficient, and knowledgeable They were a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use Bad Monkey Electric again, as the need arises.

Tim who took my call was very professional and not only care about the company and his co-workers (technicians), he cares and thinks about the client and how to address their needs immediately. He even called again to update me on when to expect the technician to come and guide me on the payment process (as I messed up, ooppsss). Larry and his partner came to check the problem. They were very professional as well. Larry is knowledgeable and passionate with his work. He shares what he knows and his skills to his partner. He is experienced, patient, calm, and explained the problem as he went by with his work. He did not looked stressed in spite of the difficulty in finding the problem. He took pictures as well and made an official report to help us with a documentation to show the company installing the walk in tub who caused the problem. His partner and Larry did an awesome job in fixing our electrical problem and the price is reasonable. Thank you so much.

Second positive review. After a storm some lights and outlets did not work. We scheduled an appointment but Brian gave me a call and shared some suggestions that may fix the problem and therefore not require a visit. His reminder made me think of one possible fix. Apparently my home's wiring had some of these other outlets and light switches wired after the GFCI outlet in the basement. It turns out the storm tripped this outlet. I reset it, then everything turned on. Problem fixed for free. Obviously I don't hope there is a problem in the future, but if there is, these guys will get the call.

Steve and his team did an amazing job knocking out a number of home inspection related issues and some extra stuff we needed to make the home suit our style. Steve was extremely responsive and was very open to giving me a few lessons on simple electrical things I can do / watch out for. His team was also a great pleasure to be around - they all were very detail oriented, ensured any area they worked in was cleaned up , and got all the problems fixed on the first attempt. Great group, and clearly the company is very very well run. Will definitely be using BME for our next few projects in the coming year. Highly recommend Steve and co.

I called Steve in the morning to get some help with a bunch of outlets that were not working around the house. He was able to squeeze me in on the same day this afternoon. The outlets in the garage, basement, and outside have been out for over a year! Steve and Mike were able to come within a couple of hours and fix the problem quickly. They were both professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend Bad Monkey Electric to anyone with electrical problems. Mike is also following up with me early next week for another separate issue. My wife and I are super happy they helped us with our long and ongoing issue.

Bad Monkey was great, and very reasonably priced. We hired them to install a ceiling fan on a 20 foot ceiling, electric car charger, in ceiling speakers and relocate our cable and power to over our fireplace. They cut the minimal amount of holes in the drywall and did a clean install as well as cleaned up when they were done. They introduced us to a great drywall company to patch things after they were done. These guys go above and beyond to get you exactly what you want. We will definitely hire them again.

Great service, very reasonable prices!I had a fairly big electrical upgrade at my house - running high power from one side of my house to the other for a new hot tub installation, installing new circuits, external outlets and speaker wires, and installing a new panel to transfer to generator power during outages. They did the entire job in a day and with minimal inconvenience for such a major undertaking. The owner Steve came by to personally inspect afterwards (and had a minor adjustment done for me for free). Great quality work, very communicative and responsive staff - VERY happy customer!

These guys are amazing! Moved into a new (old) home with older wiring that i knew nothing about and was having a hard time with newer light fixtures. These guys showed up at 7:30 AM on CHRISTMAS EVE to diagnose the problem. Larry was awesome and professional. Found an old electrical box with loose wiring that was buried underneath plater and was able to fix my problem without cutting a million holes in my walls. Would recommend this company to anyone and will definitely have them back to fix other things.

I can’t wait until I have another electrical problem so I can call Bad Monkey!! Steve and his technicians were professional, knowledgeable and just plain good guys! They re-wired the ceiling outlet so my new chandelier was exactly where we wanted it. My living room scones were replaced and neither places needed extra construction work afterwards. New outlets and switch were installed in the basement. My husband and I were very pleased with all the work. And the best part, their main concern was that we were happy with all the work done.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the level of service I received from Bad Monkey. I had several estimates and some came in less than Bad Monkey but the conversations I had with representatives from each company brought me back to Bad Monkey. I chose Bad Monkey because the owner Steve was very straightforward and professional which is what I look for in any company I decide to do business with. Their customer service is top notch and even their level of work.They replaced my circuit breaker panel and did our rough in electrical work for our new addition. We actually sign a contract with another company to do the work but after we met with Steve we decided to cancel our contract and even paid cancellation fees just so we can have Bad Monkey do all the work. We have no regrets and are very satisfied with the work.All in all I will recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work. Great job Bad Monkey!!!!

We had a light fixture hung above my bar and an outlet installed in the garage and a new GFI outlet installed on the back patio. They also ran the lines and installed a box with a 220 breaker to my patio for installation of my new hot tub/jacuzzi. Great professional service and very thorough in their work. Most of them gave me appointment times for October and November. But when I reached out to Steve not only did he tell me he can do the job at a AMAZING price, he also said he could be at my location in 30 minutes! I was so impressed with Bad Monkey Electric. I needed to get my EXIT sign fixed ASAP at my work to obtain permits. Mike answered the phone right away, and had his electricians to my business within the hour. The electricians immediately knew what the issue was and had my sign working in minutes. I hired Bad Monkey last month to do some work in my backyard. I got them to run electric to my shed, install some outlets and some lights inside. They also installed an outlet on the back of my house. I got quotes from 2 other companies before I choose Bad Monkey. The gentleman they sent out to give me an estimate was great. I ask a lot of questions! And he was super patient with me. The crew showed up on time and finished on time. Good quality work. I was impressed with how well they buried the wires in my yard.
